Teen Eductional Coordinator

Primary Function: Red Lake Nation Boys & Girls Club invites you to be an integral part of planning and providing unique programs for Club teens in promoting post secondary education. This is a professional development opportunity for anyone who wants to impact local teens in an upbeat, positive manner. Approximately 5% of the Red Lake population has a college degree. The Teen Educational Coordinator is expected to promote post secondary education thru a variety of engaging curriculum with Club teens. Full-time with benefits
Essential Responsibilities & Duties: Assist youth during programming hours Participate in staff training. Assist in the preparation, implementation & evaluation of Goals for Graduation, Career Launch, Money Matters, and Project Learn programs. Schedule Presenters Homework Help Prepare Activity Reports Go into the school to implement Career Launch, Money Matters, Goals for Graduation, and Project Learn Prepare students for ACT/SAT exam Collaborate with the New Beginnings Organization to find specific funding for college bound students. Assist high school students in college placement Schedule 12 college tours for students Recruit additional high school aged students to participate in RLNBGC college prep programming.
Qualifications: Some secondary preferred Mandatory Drug testing Valid drivers license Must pass a Background Check
